Refurbishment & Modification Project – 1,650L Winkworth Jacketed U-Trough Mixer

Rigal Bennett Group recently completed a full refurbishment and modification project on a 1,650L Winkworth Jacketed U-Trough Mixer. The mixer was brought into our workshop for a complete overhaul to restore performance, extend service life, and improve operator safety.

Work Carried Out:

  • Full strip-down of existing components with replacement of worn parts as required

  • Deep clean inside and out

  • Installation of a brand-new geardrive and Cooper bearing

  • Fabrication and fitting of a new platform with safe housing for the geardrive

  • Addition of a new access gate and safety railing for improved operator protection

  • Full repaint to factory finish

  • Comprehensive testing prior to dispatch

  • Delivered and installed on-site using a Hiab lorry

This project demonstrates our ability to combine mechanical refurbishment with safety and operational upgrades, ensuring equipment is fully compliant, reliable, and ready for years of service.
